@placestokissyou @krystik This was the place of our first business together. We owned a quaint, adorable store called Incredible Edibles in the Village of Pinehurst. It was the sweetest ice cream, coffee and old fashioned candy store. We always said if we would ever own a business it would be that one. There was an awning out front, a red tiled ceiling... the door and floors creaked - it had the most adorable personality all by itself. We dreamed of having a family owned business and raising our kids here. Well, we didn't raise our kids here but we did own it for 3 years. I'd kiss you here because it was some of the best years of our lives owning this store. Every time we visit the Village my heart aches just a little bit of how many precious memories we had inside this store.
"Dear Rome, you stole my heart. I stole your sidewalk cafes. Your ridiculous history. Your charming window boxes of flowers. Kissing in your cobblestone streets. The romance oozing out of your every nook and cranny. Thank you for welcoming us in with open arms. If I have anything to say about it, we shall return. Sincerely, the smitten one #romanza #thatsamore #tourists #history"

Istanbul is a rich blend of cultures, religions, traditions, the old and the new, the forgotten and the hard to forget. You are looking onto the skyline from a 360 rooftop, onto a bell tower of St. Anthony of Padua/Sant'Antonio di Padova - the largest Catholic church and a minor basilica in Instanbul built by the Italians in the 18th century. On your right, really far into the background is Topkapi Palace, which saw the rise and demise of so many Sultans, their families and concubines - your head would spin. 15th century. Next to it is the Hagia Sophia, 6th century, the seat of Patriarch of Constantinopis, a mosque and now a museum. It witnessed the Great Schism - the division of Church into what is now Catholic and Orthodox, a raid by Crusaders, and an almost improbable and for that reason - magnificent - conquest of Constantinopolis by the Ottomans. To this day, whenever there is a new metro line being built, they bump into Bysantian ships and treasures. Go visit Istanbul, go kiss on a 360 degree terrace, go do things worthy of bucket list #merhaba #hello #instanbul #magnificnetcentury #constantinopolis #travel #bucketlist #visitturkey #oldworld #newworld #backpacking # maybe #traveler #view #newhorizons #360instanbul #topkapi #hagiasophia #isitklal #history #drunkhistory #also #placestokissyou #ptky"
