I'd kiss you here because.... I sent this to you.  On the eve of Valentine's Day, you sent me a picture with words about tears.  I thought you were sad.  You explained a bit, and said, you still kinda loved tears.  Later I would tell you, you can love whatever your heart desires, I just didn't want you to be sad.  Since then, I have thought about tears, and that there are very beautiful tears.  This is one of them, and so, of course I sent it to you.  It will not end in tears, just kisses.  But...I would kiss your tears if you ever cried.

I'd kiss you here because... I was thinking of you when I went in here.  I texted you this picture.  I knew you would be inspired seeing the design and architecture of the Pantheon.  You were.  I would have loved to kiss you there.  I know you have been hugging me as we both looked up.  Bisous.

I'd kiss you here because... Daniel Buren's striped columns in the courtyard are fun, fun, FUN. Hopping up and down on them, like mini-stages for "performances" and photo op's.  You hop up on one, then me, then you join me, we are obviously kissing just before we fall off.  Lovely place to meander.

I'd kiss you here because... It was the Daido Moriyama exhibit at the Foundation Cartier.  You walk into a dark room and find a seat against the wall while you watch the slide show unfold.  It was mesmerizing.  I wish you were there so we could have watched it as many times as we wanted and then meandered for hours later talking about it.  We did text about it which was sweet too.  Only better if you were there so we could kiss kiss too.

I;d kiss you here because.... One snowy day in February, you sent me an image of a collage of playing cards that made my heart skip a beat.  I loved them, you knew I would.  Before I left for Paris, I asked you where you want to kiss in Paris.  You sent me a list of "possible Paris afternoons".  I spent one afternoon and early evening walking around to a few of your "places".  Part of your walk was near one of my favorite book stores in Paris.  I lost my mind as I got to the windows of the store and saw this art by Maissa Toulet.   It immediately reminded me of the image you sent me, which I still have.  Love and kisses, all hearts.

I'd kiss you here because.... It was on your list of "possible Paris afternoons".  I had never been here before.  It was a sweet little adventure and what I live for when I travel.  I bought you gifts from here.  I told you because I can't keep gift secrets very well.  I was laughing to myself at the thought of you being there with me when I saw the gift I bought you.  Laughs, kisses, Paris, possible afternoons, wandering.  Thank you for the afternoon.

I'd kiss you here because... BEAUTIFUL shop.  Each wall was a color story of notebooks that make you want them all.  A complete slice of heaven.  I have walked by this store so many times and it has never been open, which is unreal considering how many times I have walked by.  Such a great surprise.  I know you would love that store, if you haven't already been to it.  It is super special.  I know how you love paper, me too.  I was in another world.  It would have been SO great with you.  Truly.  Bisous.

I'd kiss you here because.... You took us to Matsuhisa Paris to celebrate love and life, new beginnings, our friendship and creative endeavors.  It was divine, lovely, mellow and DELICIOUS.  We had a great time, as always.  I have the best memories with you, from our mornings together hanging out, talking over our tea and yogurt, to any and all adventures anywhere we go.  I can't thank you enough for your commitment to our friendship, it means the world to me.  THANK YOU for the best of times, no matter what we are doing.  Always the biggest hugs and kisses for you.

I'd kiss you here because... Well, first, it's a passageway, super charming and romantic.  Second, it is a sweet bookstore that was a visual dream that so often ceases to exist in the U.S.  It had library-like qualities, dark wood, filled with books, floor-to-ceiling with a bygone era kind of feeling, but it is simply Paris, everyday.   A little time travel vortex of books you rarely see.  We would have kissed before we ever even went into the bookstore.

I'd kiss you here because... It was a visual and acoustic dream all in one.  Music, art, photography, books and magazines so on point and inspiring I got lost in there for a bit.  It was especially sweet because I was on my adventure of seeing Paris through your eyes, creating new "places" to remember in Paris.  Because of your "possible Paris afternoons" Ofr became part of that wandering, intertwining your day with mine and ultimately a super perfect mix of a day.  I would have kissed you like crazy in that store, the music was too good surrounded by so many visually inspiring things.  I love that place.  Bisou, bisou, bisou, bisou!

I'd kiss you here because... I went to see the Daido Moriyama at Fondation Cartier.  The entire property was a dream from the minute I walked through the entrance way.  The Fondation Cartier's Garden is remarkable to say the very least, and no words will ever do this place justice.  It is to be experienced, in awe and silence, I marveled.  While I have a strong belief there is beauty beyond what society deems "beautiful", this garden is to be experienced.  I would love to kiss you there.  It was very simply magical, otherwordly with you.  Love and kisses.

I'd kiss you here because.... We both LOVE motorcycles...but more than a general love of them, we feel the same way about the exact same bikes!  That was all a surprise one day when I realized you loved them and had taken pics of them in Paris.  Me too!!!!  I saw them all the time last summer in Paris.  I didn't see very many this trip, but when I saw this hot little baby, I thought of you immediately!  Plus Paris!  Too good!  You joke that we are gonna hot wire one some day and go for a ride!  When we take a ride together, we are absolutely kissing like crazy afterwards, probably before too.  Kiss, kiss, kiss and kiss some more.
