I'd kiss you here because.... It's the two-year anniversary of "places to kiss you".  I launched my webstie with a picture from a snow walk in Brooklyn Bridge Park and a guy was set-up for a proposal with pink candles in the snow.  This park has been the core of my creative processing.  No better way to honor this project than with a different picture of the same park, in the snow!  I would kiss you forever in this park, on that bench in front of Jane's Carousel, because of all that you inspire and all that bench has let me process.  In honor of the two years of this project, go kiss someone like you mean it!

I'd kiss you here because.... "Love is all around us like air; pressing in on us, making us more like love."  Agnes Martin These are titled (from left):   Loving Love , Blessings and Gratitude . The words that explain these works are as follows...  "...convey her earnest conviction that innocence and love can fill the world."  No better reason to kiss you there, so much love.

I'd kiss you here because.... 'Tis the Paper White season.  The anticipation of when they will bloom, how tall they will grow, their distinctive smell slowly permeates the room, delicate perfection, changes your morning orientation.  Growth parallels the escalation of activity and celebration, becoming the centering focus when you walk into the kitchen and see them every morning.  It's one of the good morning kisses, the one where you have your coffee (me tea), barely awake and you just stand there looking at them before the day starts.  It's that kiss.

I'd kiss you here because... I take so many people to the library when they visit from out-of-town.  I love these lions, especially when they get their wreath collars.  Holiday kissing photo-op and part of the "Christmas window stroll".  XO

I'd kiss you here because... You showed it to me and wanted me to take the picture!  The colors.  We "trespassed" a little, the wrought iron gate was open, so we snuck in for a closer look at the leaves.  Hanging, hanging, hanging on.  We were both giddy, kissed and walked on.

I'd kiss you here because... We were on the walk to the ferry, I love these.  You know every plant name, I only know some.  When you tell me, they are familiar, but not stored in my memory the way yours is an encyclopedia.  You told me the name, I kissed you.

I'd kiss you here because... They are like you and me and all the things we love.

I'd kiss you here because... "Love Actually"  says it best..."It seems to me that loves is everywhere.  Often, it's not particularly dignified or newsworhty, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends.  ...If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

I'd kiss you here because.... Beautiful day between the holidays, made for winter walks in the park.  It was so good to get out, walk and clear our minds.  It was a quiet walk. A good one.  A lot on our minds, thinking of this past year, but more about what lies ahead for each of us, together and individually.

I'd kiss you here because... We bid adieu to 2016.  You were so good to me, with me and for me in a year filled with ups and downs.  I am grateful for you.  May we always be inspired, may we always inspire, always and all ways.  Just like the dream land of Bergdorf's windows during the holidays.  So long 2016...
